MCFI Operations in Zambia

Zambia is a landlocked country in southern Africa between Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It has an area of 740,720 square kilometers and its capital is Lusaka. The official language is English, but they speak Swahili, Tonga, Nyanga and nearly 70 local Bantu languages. MCFI is present through its subsidiary MCFI International (Zambia) Ltd since 1997 and plans to consolidate its presence, especially in the regional agricultural industry. In Zambia, agriculture is a secondary economic pillar, but it is worthy to note that only 20% of arable land is used to this day. Also, the country has experienced political stability backed by over 15 years of growth and has an enviable reputation in the region.

Currently, MCFI International (Zambia) Ltd is changing to meet the challenge of the African market in constant evolution. It is, in fact, the leader in sectors such as leather, food, paint, detergents industries and water treatment among others. Its headquarters is located in Lusaka in a business district and industrial zone development, the subsidiary currently operates with a staff of 21 employees including 3 are based in a branch operating in Ndola, the third largest city in Zambia.
